Move Better. Feel Better

Hi, I’m Anita — a movement therapist in training.

After years of struggling with chronic pain, I discovered a way to reset how my body moves— The Feldenkrais Method— and it changed everything. I loved it so much, I decided to become a practitioner. Now I’m excited to share this work with you.

Who’s This For?

The Feldenkrais Method can help if you’re dealing with:

  • neck, back, shoulder, or jaw tension

  • lingering pain that won’t quite resolve

  • wanting to move more easily in daily life (walking, exercise, etc.)

  • changes in your body, like during pregnancy, postpartum, or after surgery

So, what do you actually do?

  1. I teach Awareness Through Movement (ATM) lessons, in small groups or one-on-one. ATM is similar to yoga in terms of setting, the class itself is like a movement riddle. Through slow, guided explorations, you’ll notice patterns in how you move—and discover new options that feel easier and more comfortable. It’s like an update to your operating system. You’ll leave feeling lighter (maybe even a little younger).

  2. I also offer Functional Integration, which is a personalized version of this work. We start by talking about what you’re noticing—where there’s tension, what feels stuck or imbalanced. I may observe how you move (walking, turning, etc.), and then you’ll lie on a table while I gently guide movement—lifting an arm, moving a shoulder, supporting a leg. It’s all designed to help your nervous system sense new possibilities and reorganize in a way that feels more easeful.
